About Kalvium Labs

The story behind 200 AI engineers and one simple idea.

We don't start with proposals. We don't start with SOWs. We start with a prototype — because founders deserve to see their idea working before they spend anything.

The Problem We Saw

Every startup founder with an AI idea faces the same deadlock: they can't validate it without building it, and they can't afford to build it without validating it.

Agencies want $50K and 12 weeks before you see anything real. Freelancers are unpredictable. Hiring a full-time AI engineer costs $200K+ annually for an idea that might not work.

We built Kalvium Labs to break that deadlock. Build first. Decide after.

The Supply-Side Advantage

Where 200 AI engineers come from

Kalvium is India's first AI-native engineering program. These aren't full-stack developers who took an AI course. They build with LLMs, RAG, agentic systems, and vector databases as core skills from day one.

What that means in practice: a Kalvium engineer can set up a RAG pipeline with pgvector, connect it to Claude, build a Next.js frontend, and deploy it to production — in their first week. Most hires take months to ramp up to that.

Kalvium Labs is the product studio built on this pipeline. 200+ engineers delivering 6,000+ engineering hours per week. Every engineer supervised by technical project managers. Every architecture reviewed by our CTO.

This isn't a freelance marketplace or a staffing bench. It's a system — designed to turn ideas into working prototypes in 72 hours because the team, the process, and the infrastructure were built to do exactly that.

The Founding Team

Three builders, one thesis.

Anil Gulecha

Anil Gulecha

Co-Founder & CTO

Ex-HackerRank, Ex-Google

Anil doesn't just oversee — he builds. On any given project, he's the one choosing between pgvector and Pinecone, deciding whether a problem needs RAG or fine-tuning, and reviewing the code before it ships. Before Kalvium Labs, he built engineering systems at HackerRank and Google. When a CTO evaluates us, Anil is the reason they trust the work.

Venkataraghulan V

Venkataraghulan V

Co-Founder

Ex-Deloitte Consultant · Bootstrapped Entrepreneur · Enabled 3M+ tech careers

Venkat is your first call. He takes the idea in your head and turns it into something engineers can build — scope, timeline, pod structure, and the hard questions about what to build first and what to skip. Former Deloitte consultant, bootstrapped entrepreneur who scaled products to 3M+ users. When a business founder evaluates us, Venkat is the conversation.

Rajesh Kumar

Rajesh Kumar

Co-Founder & CEO

3× Founder · 18 years in Tech × Employability

Rajesh has built three education companies and sees patterns others don't. He built the talent pipeline that Kalvium Labs runs on — 200+ engineers from India's first AI-native engineering program. The conviction behind the "Prototype First" methodology comes from watching the same broken model across 18 years: too much planning, not enough building.

Abraham Jeron

Abraham Jeron

Senior Software Engineer

Abraham works closely with founders to design, prototype, and ship AI products. He converts product ideas into technical execution — architecting systems, planning sprints, and getting teams to deliver fast. He's built RAG chatbots, multi-agent content engines, agentic analytics layers with Claude Agent SDK and MCP, and scaled assessment platforms to thousands of users.

Dharini S

Technical Project Manager

Dharini sits between the founder's vision and the engineering team, making sure things move in the right direction. Her background in instructional design and program management means she thinks about people first — how they process information, where they get stuck, what they actually need — before jumping to solutions. She stays close to clients even after delivery, which is how finished projects turn into new ones.
